"You really kissed the president?"
Annie exclaimed loudly before looking around and lowering her voice when she saw Maria's stern gaze.
Since it was lunchtime, Maria had invited her dear friend Annie out for a meal and to share what had happened that morning. They had been close friends for years, and Maria often confided in Annie about things that were troubling her.
"Shh, keep it down. I told you it was an accident," Maria cautioned her friend to lower her voice. Her cheeks flushed at the thought of the embarrassing moment.
"So, how was it? Did it feel good?" Annie teased with a playful grin. Her eyes sparkled with mischief as she leaned forward on the table.
