Maria woke up in the morning, feeling the firm, strong arm draped around her waist. Her large eyes blinked rapidly.
~Again, Maria? You just came to get the ring back from him, not to let him do this to you.~
As soon as the petite yet feisty woman moved to get up, Lucas instinctively pulled her back into a warm, tight embrace, even though his eyes were still closed.
