As soon as I stepped out of the pack hospital, the rage hit me like a wave, crashing over everything. My body trembled with the force of it, and I could feel Leo pacing restlessly in the back of my mind. He was pushing harder than ever, clawing at me to take control, to deal with the threat to our mate. My breath came in ragged gasps, and I didn’t even bother holding back.
