Clark's POV
I'd just got back from Mitch's house and I was f*****g exhausted.
I took off my shirt and I crashed on the couch and moaned in bliss as my body hit the new one that Iliyan had brought — without my knowledge.
One day, I walked into the room and bam! New black couch was sitting where my old one used to be and Iliyan was nowhere in sight. Except a note that was pinned onto the couch.

He had started leaving notes around and sometimes they would be the most random s**t ever. I'd burn them afterwards because I couldn't risk anyone finding them.
Once he'd left a note saying: "I am both the poison and the antidote."
Now that I thought about it, was he referring to himself?
