Wren's POV
I flinched hard and quickly spun on my heels. I let out a breath of relief when I saw Soren walking towards me.
I crouched down to Blue's height, “hey, why don't you go join the others on the slide."
He peered at Soren warily and whispered loudly, "He looks scary though."
I stifled a laugh at soren's pout and whispered back just as loudly, “it's okay, I can take him." A laugh burst out of my lips at the look of offense on soren's face.
Blue looked at me weirdly, “you're weird but I still like you." He gave me a quick hug and ran off. I chuckled fondly and rose up to my normal height.
“You can take me? I’ll have you on your back in five seconds top." He bragged.
My eyebrow rose, "do you want to repeat that to Caelum or should I?”
“Wait, that didn't come out right." He win
