Liam’s POV: “Where is she?” I bellowed at the top of my voice to my mother and sister who They exchanged meaningful glances with each other and then my mother began taking slow precise towards me as she spoke; “She left. She was taken away by the Alpha of Black moon pack.” Her voice sounded squeaky, shaky even and with the way she rushed out her words, it was almost obvious that she was scared of what I could do. “And why would he take a slave from my pack without my consent?!” I snarled, baring my teeth. The next words mother spoke sent me staggering a few steps backwards in both anger and hurt; “we think they’re mates, they had this pull that was obvious so we let her go.” My anger flared at the thought of Eva being in the arms of another man.
