Jess' POV
"I'm starting to get worried, I mean, her line isn't going through at all, and I can't even reach her. I'm worried, Luke, what if something has happened to her?" I said to Luke as he turned a corner. I decided to go to the office today and Luke came to pick me up. He noticed the worry on my face and asked.
"I'm sure she's fine, Jess, you just need to calm down. Maybe something 'not bad' happened and she decided to change her phone or number. Just be calm, I know she's fine." Luke asked.
"Are you sure? Belle never does this. She always stays in touch, even if she has to change her line, can't she call with a new number? She isn't active on any of her social media handles either." I whined further while he briefly caressed my hand, which was on the console.
