"Jeff's back!!" Ethan exclaimed over the phone while I nodded affirmatively as he could see me.
"Yes, we met in Iceland and reconnected since. He came back here with me to meet his son and family too." I added, trying not to sound too excited, and hurt his feelings in the process.
"That's great!" He replied.
"Uhm… that means we can't meet for now?" He quizzed, and I nodded again.
"No, Ethan… not at the moment." I asserted.
