Jeff's POV
I was on my way home when my phone started ringing. I looked twice when I saw the caller ID on my screen. It was a call from Walter, Belle's dad. I didn't think twice before answering.
"Maybe it's Belle calling." I thought to myself.
"Hi Jeff, it's been a while…" It was Walter, being his usual jovial self. I could even hear him grinning happily.
"Walter!" I exclaimed as well. I was a little sad it's not Belle but at least, I could also check on her well-being through him.
"It's been a long time. How are you? And how's the company too? I guess I should be congratulating you, 'cause I hear your company just landed a huge investor, that's great Walter." I chimed in while he grinned again.
