Jeff's POV
I had quite a short night, I was busy working. Ever since Cecilia quit, I've tried to hire a new assistant but none has been able to live up to her standards. Each interview ended in a futile search and I had to make do with one of the interns I was sent from HR. She isn't that experienced but I can see the willingness to learn and grow, which is why I'm trying to tolerate her errors and inadequacies.
The only downside is I have to do most of the work myself.
I worked for the best part of the night and only retired to bed when it was almost morning. I wouldn't have taken the break if I didn't have a meeting in the morning. I needed to take a quick nap.
