Belle's POV
I was awestruck as I stood fixated in the same spot, watching as Jeff walked briskly away.
I underestimated him.
I never knew he could do this. I wanted him to be jealous, I wanted him to chase after me like I did him, and seeing him go this length, I was impressed.
A sweet smile lingered on my face as I replayed the scene that just happened and I loved every bit.
Jackson appeared just then and cleared my sweet thoughts.
"Hey babe, sorry about that, I think there was a mistake, there's nothing wrong with the car." He retorted as he moved closer to me.
"Oh, I guess it was a mistake then." I chimed in but I already knew the truth. It was Jeff's doing, he intentionally found a way to distract him so we could be together.
