Chapter 4
Danny had participated in the full moon with two different packs over the last several years – one in Washington and the other on the east side of Montana. Each pack was different in its quirks and rules and how the full moon was run. Some allowed human members of shifter families to attend for part of the evening, before the shifters went furry, others did not. Some had outdoor spaces, but the majority had to shift in a community center or warehouse. There were other differences in atmosphere and the formality of the rituals that gave each place its own flavor. Benny too had been with other packs during his schooling, but he’d been home since June and had had a few moons to readjust.
