She scanned the room one last time and then grabbed her phone again. The car she drove was paid off but paid for with her father’s money and she didn’t want to give him any excuses or advantages in the fight that was coming next. Instead she called a cab from Missoula and told dispatch that the car had to stop at the end of the driveway and not turn in. “Have them call me from there. It’s important.
