Chapter 13 Mitchell opened the door for Harris, who strode into the hospital while he stared at his phone. “Anything good?” Mitchell asked. “Just a text from a friend.” Harris couldn’t help but grin when he saw Peyton’s message. Just got out of coding class. Girl in the class did her entire project in CSS instead of JAVA. “You look happy for a guy about to get his head examined,” Mitchell said as he navigated through the hospital corridors. “I feel fine, I’m sure the brain scan will reflect that. I’m just chatting with a friend.” “Oh?” “It’s nothing.” “Your smile says otherwise.” “Concentrate on which way we’re going, snoopy.” “Aye, aye.” Harris ignored Mitchell on the way toward the doctor’s office. He haphazardly checked in with the receptionist and then sat against the wall.
