Epilogue
There are many of Richie’s friends who still ask how the grand opening finally went, and he’s always glad to tell them the official report.
It was successful, of course. His talent and commitment were never in doubt. There were several celebrities there who enjoyed a fine and perfectly presented meal. It was rumoured one celebrity was tempted to abandon her vegan status in the face of Richie’s bacon wrapped chicken in chilli and soft brown sugar, and another who wanted to boldly go with the exclusive recipe for Richie’s Stargazy pie under his jacket.
The restaurant itself had been redecorated in places, with some new furniture and fittings that did nothing but enhance the overall ambience. The staff were immaculately presented and well behaved. Everyone commented on the quality
