Jeremy Tanner entered my office the next morning precisely on time. His movements were brisk and military, and the uniform he wore enhanced the fit body beneath it. Again I felt that twinge of interest. He came to a halt in front of my desk and stood at attention. The photos, the description in his dossier hadn’t done him justice.
