I move my head slowly as the reality of my father's threats on sending me to live with my aunty slowly begins to dawn on me.
"Have you packed your bag, Cassie?" He asks as he enters my room.
I shake my head slowly, struggling to find my words. "But...why? Why do I have to go live with Aunt Maggie? I want to stay here with you."
Dad sighs deeply. "Cassie, we've been over this. After what happened with Jared...I just think it would be best for you to have a fresh start somewhere new for a while."
