Drakon's POV

I don't move, I don't breath, I can't believe the Draconian God gifted me such a marvelous mate. She isn't like anything I've ever seen and I've been alive for nearly 6,000 years. She is beyond anything I could have hoped for. from the ruby red scales, her massive paws, the sharpness of her claws, tail spikes and her 3 tails aren'tlike a Draconians scaled solid tail, wing talons and ridge, her double row of fangs, the blue/black fur, and her eye, I could look at them for the rest of the millenniums.

She suddenly wraps one of her her spiked tails around my wrist, the tip pressing into my forearm but not drawing blood. She pulls and I shuffle closer, she pulls again harder and my hand slips, I fall forward and suddenly she moves. Pain engulfing my shoulder as she sinks her fangs into me, 3 heart beats later there is still paid but pleasure ripples through me. A pleasure growl rumbles deep in my chest, she has accepted me as her male, the bond isn't complete but I am okay with this. She has been though much and I will wait another 6, 000 go and returns to her watchful position, he eyes flick behind me and I finally notice Thane standing between the humans, my King and the Thrain High Commander, the last two are arguing with a tall, older human. I pay them no mind, I know Thane will protect our mate and by extention me.

"Thane did you say she is protecting her bonded and cub"?

Yes we are in here, the cub sleeps. I can feel parts of her mind, her animal side is still mostly feral but with both mate bonds in place she is beginning to humanize in her mind . She will not move until the cub wakes, however, if that big make keeps looking at her like that she is going to eat him. Kitty says the last part dryly. I turn so fast I nearly fall and see the hostile look on my Kings face. My and Thanes growls fill the room, both of us have already moved more infront of Holly but not blocking her eye sight so she can watch the threat.

Confused looks are on the humans faces, Thane's father turns to keep the King in sight as well.

"You dare use that tone and threat with me, I am your KING!!" he booms at me. I don't stop growling as I ride to my feet, my shoulder still bleeding, my scales ripple under my skin. I know I can't shift in here I'm to big. He is threatened by our mate, he knows what finding her means to his position. He isn't a true Royal, he was voted into the position thousands of years ago because we had no true heir. I relize to late he didn't come here to bring her home, he is going to kill her. He moves as fast as lightning, Im pushed to the side from behind and I truly have no Idea what happened. The King is dead on the ground I turn slowly to look behind me to see Holly sitting on her launches, wings spread and licking her paw.

Holly's POV

So slowly the world starts to make sense, for what felt like forever all I knew was pain, my body feeling strange and more pain. Bits of memory start, Draco and his fear, Kitty and her pain, people trying to take them from me, then so much agony, I was tall and so angry, Thane came he made it a little better. Then the need to protect Draco and Kitty, so no one can take them. I curled around them, how? A new guy is here, he is so big like Thane, his eyes are red, like blood. I watch as he get closer, I need to bit him, I don't know why but I do. He falls into me and I sink my teeth into his shoulder, I tabloid but don't recoil from it, it helps the pain, the confusion.

Someone like the one I bit enters, I don't like him and he is a threat to my son and Kitty. He speaks but I don't listen I watch and wait, then he moves, fast but not as fast as me. I move Thane and the bitten one out of my way, I take the threats head off, severing his neck with my jaws. Moving back to my place infront of Kitty and my son I spread my wings and clean my face. Suddenly everyone is looking at me weirdly, I huff at them all.
