The Alarms screamed around us the growls of a number of Thrains could be heard, the growls of the bonded Tigers louder but nothing was as loud as the growling wail of the humans bonded Tiger. One moment she was on one side of the room the next she is throwing doctors out of her way to get to the human and to the terror of everyone but the Thrains bites the humans shoulder with 8 inch fangs that I know went all the way through the females shoulder. Amidst it all the Queens stares, then shakes her head and sighs. Something about this, is going to change everything, again. Suddenly the alarms stop, did someone turn them off I wonder. No, the human is breathing again and as we watch her skin closes. This is Thrain healing, there regenerate abilities is one of the reasons they are so feared on the battle front.

I look to the Queen, "she is still human, just fully bonded to her Tiger now, she will have the same life span as long as neither of them die in battle" she says and I'm shell shocked, Thrains live up to 1,500 years.

Suddenly the human sits up, looks around, eyes locking on me and I really doubt she is still human given the way her eyes look now. They use to be blue with a round pupil now they are a bright blue with vertical pupil, much like the Tigers eyes. She is also faster, much faster then we know she was before. As she launches herself at me and raining blows down on my body. She is Suddenly removed and I hear a purr, I look and see she's still struggling but less in the arms of a huge Thrain. It takes me longer to remember why I recognize him, its the Queens only son and the Purr is coming from his bonded and her bonded. Thane is petting her like he would one of there females and it seems to be working.

Holly's POV

I wake feeling weird, I remember the fight the cat, I remember being lost, the room is white and bright when I open my eyes, to bright. I look around until I see the reason I nearly died, or did die, something inside me is sure of it. The jelly fish. I launch at him, so much rage inside me, he is on the ground under me and I keep hitting, until suddenly I feel arms around me I hiss, which is kinda new then I hear Purring, its calming the rage, I still struggle, wanting to finish what I started. Then I hear her, calm my other half, you are safe, you live. We are bonded. I know this is the panther, she is mine and I am hers. We are one now.

I stop struggling and grow still as the male who is holding me nuzzles into my neck, it feels really good.

I jolt, "HOME NOW" I demand, starting to struggle again.

The jelly fish is standing again and says "we can not send you home yet", I cut him off, I have been gone at least 4 days, I need to get back to my son, to my animals, I say. I hear growls around me louder ones from the cats around the room. I finally notice the tall regal lady in the middle of the room. She says in a growling voice "you took a mother from her cubs to kill". Everyone other then the men who look like her stop and start to back towards the exit, the jelly fish kinda looks like it melted. "We didn't know she had young" he squeaks out like a deflating balloon. She looks at me I am Queen Tessa and the male holding you is my son Thane. He will take you and your bonded home, we will speak in time, she says tilting her head to her son. I turn to the man holding me and forget to breath, His eyes are a bright green with cat like pupils, his features sharp and handsome. He carries me out of the room with no issues, which shocks me greatly since I'm not some slight chick. I was to busy looking at him to catch much of where we are until I hear another woosh and he puts me in a seat. We are in a room with a huge window, outside is darkness and stars. What is your name? he asks in fluent English, I'm Holly, you are the first to ask me my name or anything else besides female or human I say. You are both, but not just those, I am pleased to meet you Holly of the Terran world. I blush and reach my hand out for his "nice to meet you too Thane" I say.

How long until we reached Earth? what is a bonded, what is my cats name? I say in one long breath.

Thane chuckles and says "2 days till we reach Earth, a bonded refers to a Thrain and a Battle Tigers bond, they are the other half of our soul. When we fully bond we share a life span, healing, thoughts, pain, and so much more. If one dies the other dies, the only time this does not occur is if the female is with young, however, as soon as they are born she will die," he said the last with sadness in his tone. "We lost our sisters that way" he said as he reached out to touch his cats massive head. Kells sister was with cub when my sister was killed on a diplomatic mission 6 years ago, we have been raising Vera's cub since she past, he said soberly. I listened with tears in my eyes, slowly I walk over to both of them, " I am so sorry for your losses" I say touching my forged to Kells. I don't know why I do it, it feels right. I do the same to Thane.
