"Mom" my son cries out across the bay, I turn to see soldier holding my struggling child, I growl, Kitty growls, Thane growls and Kell growls,me and Kitty are moving before anyone can say a word, a loud bang fills the room and my chest burns with pain. I look down above my heart is a red patch getting bigger, I hear my son screaming for me I'm still moving, slowly now, suddenly not at all, I'm on my knees Kitty pressed into my side. I'm sorry Kitty. is my last thought

Thanes POV

I hear the bang, smell her blood, the fear. She has been shot in the heart, the object will heal inside her again and again before it kills them both, Kell roars in my head. I see her young bite the male holding him, he runs to his mother crying and screaming for help. I see the male, the Director. "She needs the object removed immediately from her heart, I will explain but she needs help first" I demand. The male dosen't waste time he motions for the medical team. the young won't let go of his mother, I pick him up, and he fights me, Kell starts to purr as I stroke the cub, whispering reassures to him. He dosen't really calm but stops fighting and biting. I don't stop and neither does Kell. They brought Kitty to us and we waited. Hours later they finally returned, the cub in my arms still whimpers from time to time, we all look up to the female in white.

"I don't know how she is alive, or how she survived not just being shot in the heart but from the scaring we found what she's been through. She kept healing as we went, some how her heart never stopped. She will be our for least 8 more" she never finished as the loudest roar I've ever heard came from down the hallway and it wasn't Kitty.

I set the cub down and run to the room Holly is in. What I see chills me, she is feral, females rarely go feral and never those who have cubs. Holly is also not Theain or maybe is is a bit, it would explain a lot. Thane, she died again, Kitty dosen't know how buy she died without it kills Kitty. The human did something to keep Kitty from dieing. Kitty felt her slipping, Holly told her to live and love her son. Then she was gone, Kitty can't feel her now, they fully bonded, this isn't possible Kells panicked voice echoed in his head.

"Everyone out and lock this door, I need to reach out to my people." I saw with authority.

"what's going on" the director asks.

"She died again, she is fully bonded to her Battle Tiger, she did something so the Tiger would live". I say with anger in my voice, not anger at Holly or Kitty but the humans.

I rush to the shop and call my mother. She answers immediately "Holly went feral after dieing again, Kitty is alive, says she can't feel her any more. Said Holly knew she was dieing and did something" as I rushed everything out my mothers face got paler and paler.

In a thin voice "Thane you know our family's line was not the original ruling line, the original ruling line was killed by the dark Draconians and Thrain line that our family line ended for the traitorous actions The original line is just that, the original Thrains. They had abilities no one else ever did, one of them being able to end a bond, back when they ruled it wasn't a death sentence for both if one in a bonded pair died. If a queen was around she could end a bond saving the one side from death. It didn't cause

the queen or the one saved to go feral but no queen ever severed her bond and or died right after wards. There is a lot more to queens of the first line. Right now we need to save her, Take Kitty and her son to her, do not let anyone else enter, not even you. She will not harm her young, just incase tell Kitty to stay close enough to stop her" my mother finished looking pale but hopeful.

I turn and run back her son is at the door crying and trying to get in, Holly is making increasingly angry sounds from.the other side, Kitty is keeping the other humans away. "Kitty come here, you and the cub are going in, stay between Holly and her cub" I say to them both. I move to the door, the humans are yelling asI open it, Kitty goes in first using her size to keep Holly inside and the cub protected. I close the door and stand infront with Kell.

"What the hell are you doing" the Director yells.

"She died, the Dr omitted that detail. She severed her bond with her Tiger to save the Tigers life, this is the second time she has died in days. She was taken from your planet for a hunt for a species I have a feeling my Queen is currently destroying. She is the first to survive the hunt as a human. What is starting to come into questioning is if she is fully human, the answer is probably not and that had little to do with her survival of the hunt. I brought her home only for your own people to attack her. What is wrong with you" I say angerly.
