Nia's Pov
I woke up at my usual time and did my morning routine.
When I was coming out of the bathroom, I saw Ellie entering the room.
“So how was your time with your family?” I asked her.
“It was good and tiring. They made me clean the whole house” She said, pouting.
"So how you doing today?" She asked
"I am ok but something happened at the park today in the morning"
"What happened?"
"Today when I went for jogging, there were at least, thirty boys present but that's not the thing. Yesterday, there were hardly ten people, including girls and boys"
"I guess the word got out that you go jogging every day. Only a fool would miss seeing that a*s jiggle first thing in the morning" She commented while winking and I blushed.
"Well one of them even approached me?" I told her.
She gasped and mumbled something like 'Lucifer will kill him' or something like that.
"Really? Then what did you do? And what did he said?"
"Well he asked for my number but then I pretended that I got a call from home and ran away from there"
"Well you did the right thing"
“Anyway, after we left, did Lucifer said anything to you?”
“Nothing bad but something funny happened” I laughed.
“What happened?” She asked with her undivided attention on me.
“You know when Lucifer said those things to me and then he came to me and said sorry, I punished him.” I told her laughing. Her jaw dropped and her eyes went wide as if she had seen a ghost.
“Are you alright Ellie??” I asked her.
“Yo-You punished him. You punished Lucifer. Are you serious??” She asked in a surprised voice.
“Yes. So what?? Wait I will tell you the rest when everyone is present. Ok?” I said. She just nodded and was still shocked by the news.
I just don’t get it. Why everyone treats Lucifer as if he is the alpha of some pack? Oh God, how I wish him to be an alpha. He is so hot, just like alphas in the novels. I really wish them to be true.
Ellie shook me out of the train of my thoughts.
“What??” I asked.
“Don’t you want to go to college today?” She asked.
“Say it after you get ready miss. Then we will go” I said to her.
“Look I am ready” she said.” Huh! when did you got ready??” I asked her. Does she have a superpower or something?? How can she get ready in 5 minutes.
“I got ready when you were daydreaming about god knows what” I roll my eyes at her.
“Leave it. Let’s go.” I said. We went to the cafeteria for our breakfast.
When we reached their everyone was present except Lucifer. Perfect.
“Do you all know what happened yesterday after we left?” Ellie asked, peaking their interest.
“What happened?” Everyone asked in unison.
“Well, Nia punished Lucifer.” Ellie said and their eyes went wide.
“Really! How?? This time John asked. Ellie signalled me to continue.
“Actually when Lucifer apologized, he said he will take any punishment to earn my forgiveness.” I told them.
“Really??” Tina asked.
“Really. He asked for punishment himself, so I made him eat half packet of spicy Cheetos. You know his face was a sight to watch. His face was all red and when I gave him water, he gulped all of it in one go” I told them laughing.
When I glanced at them they had their heads down.
“What happened guys?? Didn’t you all find it funny?”
Ellie signalled me to look back with her eyes. Oh God is Lucifer here. I am dead. Fearing I looked back and found Lucifer standing with his hands in the pocket of his jeans. If looks could kill I will definitely be dead by now. Oh God Nia run.
“Le-Lets go. We have to go to class, Ri-right Ellie?? Let’s go.” I said to Ellie, signalling her to get up.
“Yes-yes we have to go” she said and we got up. Just as I was about to pass Lucifer he grabbed my hand. I heard some gasp. He is just holding my hands. Why are all of them reacting like this?
Well, that is not the main problem. I have to go otherwise, he will kill me for telling them about yesterday.
“What were you saying to them?? Tell me too. Let's all laugh together.” he said. His voice sounded so deadly yet sexy. What the hell?? My brain has to go on a long vacation. Instead of thinking of a solution, it found his voice sexy. Great.
“What happened?? Cat got your tongue.? Huh?” He asked. I was standing there silently, fiddling with the hem of my top. Suddenly he grabbed my hand and started dragging me towards the entrance.
“Where are you taking me? Leave me” I yelled.
“Yell one more time and I will just sew your mouth” he said. What?? This bastard. I decided not to say anything and let him lead me.
We went to his car and he gestured me to sit. I just sat silently and he drove us to God knows where. I think I should go with the flow.
Luke’s Pov
“He has found his mate. She is a human.” I told him. It’s been years since the day he insulted me but I can’t forget it. He will have to pay for what he did.
“I see. It means we have got his weak point. Now we just have to make a good plan.” He said.
"You are doing your job correctly Luke. Should I give you a reward?" He asked.
"I don't want any kind of reward. My biggest prize will be his destruction" I said, laughing. He laughed with me.
