Nia's Pov
When he changed, the whole world stopped. He was looking magnificent in his wolf form. I can't believe that he is a werewolf. Whenever I read a werewolf story, I was left fascinated.
And here he is standing in front of me in his wolf form, looking majestic. I started jumping up and down while yelling,
"They are real. They are true."
"Yes, yes, yes. Oh God, I am so happy" After fifteen minutes of doing so, I came back to the world.
"Can I touch you??" I asked expectantly. He nodded. I slowly walked towards him and touched his head and I felt pleasurable sparks.
He purred. Taking that as a cue, I started petting him. I sat there on the ground and patted my lap. He put his head in my lap and started petting him.
He was looking so happy. He was purring and rolling like a cute dog. Suddenly he made a sad face. Did I do something wrong? He stood up and I frowned. I was going to say something but he put his head in my neck, took a whiff and then licked my face. I said "Gross" I mean who likes saliva on the face.
He started walking in the direction of our car. "Where are you going?" I asked but when I saw him picking up his clothes, I understood. He is going to shift back. So I sat down.
He went behind the tree and changed. He came back and sat behind me. I hugged him tightly and said,
"OMG! I am so happy. My boyfriend is a werewolf."
We hugged for a minute then he broke the hug and said,
"We need to talk Nia." Indeed we need to talk. He is a werewolf and he showed himself to me then there must be a reason.
I sat straight and said, "Ok let's talk."
"Nia first tell me, why were you so happy that I am a werewolf?? Most of the humans gets scared and runs away but here you are looking happy"
"Oh that. I was so happy because I am a really big fan of werewolf stories. Whenever I read about them, I was left fascinated. Everyone says that this is all ridiculous but when I saw you turn into a werewolf, I couldn't be happier. It was like my dreams came true" I replied.
"You are the first human I have ever seen in my entire life who have been happy after seeing a werewolf." He said and we both laughed.
"Now you tell me, mister, why did you tell me about your identity?" He made a confused face but I continued, "It's not that I am complaining, it's just that you hide your identity from everyone and you told about yourself to me, I mean I am no one to you." I said and made a sad face. I am indeed no one.
"No Nia yo-......" He was saying something but then a thought crossed my mind.
"Wait if you are a werewolf, then you surely have a mate." he looked panicked but I couldn't care less. He lied to me. How can he be with me? Even if he hasn't found her yet, he will soon. Then what about me. I have read that the mate bond is really strong.
"No Nia I don't have a mate. I mean I have a mate but..." he said and I cut him off again.
"See you have a mate. That means you lied to me and cheated on her. How can I like someone like you?" Now I was crying badly.
"Nia-Nia Oh God, you took it all wrong" He said.
"No, you are a LIAR, A CHEATER." I shouted while crying. I tried to get up but he pulled me down by my wrist.
"NIA CALM DOWN AND LISTEN TO ME" He shouted.
"Why should I listen to you?? You lied to me and cheated on her" I said. I was looking away from him. He slowly put his hands on my cheeks, cupped them and made me look in his eyes and said,
"Nia I have not lied to you and haven't cheated on my mate. I only love one person in this whole world and that is my mate. She is very beautiful and kind-hearted and she is standing right in front of me." He said and I froze. Did he not just said that I am his mate?
"What...How...I me-mean..." I was unable to form a sentence.
"Calm down Nia. Yes, you are my mate. Now breathe." He said and I took a deep breath.
"Nia you are my mate and I only love you. I can't even think about cheating on you in my dreams. Now sit here silently. I am going to bring water from the car. You have cried a lot and for that Sam is shouting in my mind. Here take this handkerchief and clean your face and your nose is running and you are looking ugly because of this" He said and laughed.
He ran towards the car to bring water. I wiped my cheeks and nose. I know he didn't mean that ugly part because according to the books about werewolves their mates are the most beautiful and precious thing to them but I will act like I am angry.
I made a pout when he came back. "Why is my beautiful mate pouting??" He asked and my fake anger vanished right there. I was just about to hug him but stopped and composed back myself.
"You called me ugly." I said with a pout and squeezed my eyes.
"Did I?? I am sorry princess" He said and kissed my forehead. I was shocked for a moment before a smile appeared on my face. I touched the spot where he kissed me. He just kissed me and called me a cute nickname. I blushed.
"Is my cute mate blushing??" He said in a teasing tone. My cheeks turned scarlet.
"Shut up" I said. He just laughed and handed me the water bottle. I took it and drank water fastly. My throat is dry as a desert because of crying.
As I finished drinking water. I handed him the bottle and he drank the rest. After drinking he said, "Nia now we will talk and you will listen to me carefully. Understood?" He said and I nodded.
"Words princess?" He said in a dominant tone. Oh god, he has a dominant side. Is he dominant in other places too? My cheeks heated at the thought. I dismissed all the ungodly thoughts and said,
"Yes. I understand."
