Alpha Jacob's POV
I watch Ellie saunter out our room and close the door behind her. Then I look down at Caroline in my arms. She’s staring at me searching mine and reaches up for me, I lean down, and she places her sweet lips on mine. She kisses me softly, almost as if savoring the feel of my lips to hers. I feel wetness on my cheeks and open eyes to see tears rolling down her face.
“Hey now, what’s this all about? Didn’t you have a good time with Ellie?” I ask her, wiping at her tears gently.
