Zayde's Point of View I quickly make my way up the familiar path towards my parents' house. I don’t plan on staying long, just a quick goodbye before I head into potentially hostile territory. Just like my mother always requests. I have barely stepped inside when I hear voices coming from the sitting room. As I turn the corner, I see them. My mother, my father, and Chloe’s parents sitting across from them, coffee cups in hand. I immediately halt, unsure how they will react to seeing me.
