Chloe’s Point of View By the time we finally make it back to the apartment, my body feels like it weighs a hundred kilograms more than it should. I kick the door to our apartment shut with my heel and let out a long groan. “Okay. Fun day? Yes. But I am never, ever, walking that much again. My feet are killing me.” Zayde chuckles as he sets the shopping bags down by the wall. “You didn’t even carry anything.” I shoot him a mock glare as I shuffle into the bedroom. “Carrying bags is nothing compared to walking through five different stores while Maya argues with Sky about buttons.” He smirks faintly, unbuttoning his jacket. “That is a fair point.” I collapse onto the bed face-first with a muffled groan. “Remind me next time not to say yes when they suggest a ‘fun day out.’”
