Zayde's Point of View
After early morning training, I told Jack and Jason that I wanted to speak to them in my office, and we all left to take a shower.
Now as I stand here, staring out of the window, my mind is a tangled mess, still going over everything that happened last night. I thought training would help to take my mind off of things, and it did, but once I stood under the shower, everything came tumbling back.
There is suddenly a loud knock on my office door, drawing me out of my thoughts.
"Come in."
I say without turning around, knowing that it was Jason and Jack.
For a few seconds, the soft creak of the office door closing behind them is the only sound as Jack and Jason settle into the chairs across from my desk.
“You look like you didn’t sleep at all last night.”
