Maya says loudly, cutting Sky off before she caneven speak.
“Let’s talk about something that actually matters. Chloe, when can we start working on the nursery? I’m dying to get started.”
I smile, and lean back.
“Soon. Zayde and I were going to make a list this week. Maybe this weekend you girls can come over and we can start picking paint colors and designs?”
Maya perks up and nods her head enthusiastically.
“Yes! Finally. I have already seen the cutest themes online. Like, neutral forests, or something with soft blues and grays. Nothing too much, but cozy. You’ll love it.”
Sky chuckles.
“You sound more excited than Chloe.”
