Zayde's Point of View The only source of light in my office comes from the fire crackling in the fireplace. I sit at the edge of my desk, nursing a half empty bottle of whiskey as I stare out the window at the storm in the distance. A storm that matches the chaos churning inside of me. My office door creaks open and Jason steps in without knocking. He sees the bottle and grabs a second glass off the shelf. He switches the lamp on my desk on, and, without asking, he pours himself a class as well before he sits down across from me.
