Zayde's Point of View
I make my way towards the window, staring out of it. I hear the quiet discussions coming from the table, but I wait for Jason and Jack to return before making my way back towards the table.
"Idran’s betrayal is treason against all of us, that is punishable by death. Does anyone disagree?"
I ask quietly, my gaze sweeping across the table. They all shake their heads and I give a curt nod.
"Then it's settled. After he has given us everything he knows, he will be stripped of his titles and punished for his crimes. The part that unsettles me the most is that his betrayal proves what we feared, that the council is compromised.
