REAPER’S POV Protect women and minors first, hear the details later. That was one of the strict rules Devil’s Breed MC lived by. What I didn’t expect was a blondie barging into our camo. This building had strategically been placed in the heart of the city, portrayed as abandoned. It was where the brothers and I, co-presidents of Devil’s Breed MC, handled confidential consignments before telling the rest of the gang brothers. Then, a cute trembling blondie barged into the premises, invading my privacy. I mean—our, my brothers. Her perky ass gathered in tight jean pants, then she turned around to face us, her sports top flattering her breast. My eyes had lingered, before I shifted them to her face, when I caught the blood stain at the corner of her lips, something wild and dangerous flared in my mind. That bastard had the balls to try to hurt her right in our presence, again. We were outlaw bikers, equally feared and hated by most people. Their feelings were valid. I do not take it away from them. However those feelings were understatements to who we truly were. “I did not ask to be protected. Let me go,” Our runaway rambled behind me, her voice feminine, and tempting. She was sandwiched between three of us, our brooding bodies engulfed her up. I ignored her, paving my way through the den— Devil’s Breed MC. The clubhouse was filled with patched members, and prospects at the main den. As usual, Ol’ladies, and club bunnies straddled against them, their eyes fixed on our little group. Despite having a ton of women swooning to get the ‘Ol’lady’ patch from one or all three of us, it had never happened. We’d never walked with any woman in front of the other prospects. I twisted the doorknob, and nudged my chin. “This would be your room tonight.” A thread of command wove through my voice. Ace had that dirty sheen of lust in his eyes; the kind he had, when he’d mapped out the filthy things he wanted to do to his target. “There’s no way I’m spending the night with bikers down the hallway. I don’t even know any of you.” Her silky voice ripped through my ears in protest. “Would you rather them inside you, runaway?” Ace quipped. Her face flushed, she tried to sidestep us when I shot my hands out, her soft breast hitting against it. She tried to force herself out. I twirled her around, my hands looped around her waist, her ass grinded against the buckle of my pants. My d**k hardened. “We call the shots around here, am I clear?” My deep baritone voice brooked no opposition. “Am I clear?” I repeated the statement again, fighting the ache in my pants. I didn’t even know her name yet, but my guts told me she was trouble wrapped in irresistible features. I released her, watched her walk into the room, hesitation tugged at her shoulders. By the time I turned around to face my brothers, I caught Ace’s wolfish smile. I was too engrossed I didn’t notice Joker slipped away. We all had wounds that shaped us into the monsters we were. There was no going back from the aftermath of the scars we carry, but I wouldn’t turn a blind eye to a woman in danger. “I hope you’ve thrown a party for your guest?” Joker asked casually, as he brought the glass of vodka to his lips, before he placed the glass on the table. Ace laughed. “That doesn’t sound like a bad idea.” His intent was to tease Joker. He somehow found a way to tease the gold-haired Aussie. I love to watch them go toe to toe, even though Joker slipped right back into his grumpy self. Joker let out a disgruntled sigh. “For f**k same brother, she’s not worth it. She looks like f*****g time bomb.” “A beautiful one—” “Do me a favor, and shut the f**k up, Ace.” Ace chuckled, and gestured to the lady that had just walked into the ‘crown room’, an exclusive room in the clubhouse accessible to just the three of us. “Whoever was after her would come for her.” I said, settling into one of the couches. Joker's lips thinned. “How does that concern us?” Ace was at one end fondling the breast of a club bunny, her enthusiasm at pulling his shirt apart showed off her desperation to get cracked. Knowing who Ace was, he’d be bored out of his mind by her before dawn. “Then—” My words got caught in my throat as the sound of a knock bled into my ears. Tanker, our V-Prez, a man in his mid-thirties walked in. “She said you brought her to the clubhouse.” He stepped aside to reveal a smallish figure behind him. “You may leave.” Ace ordered the lady, his eyes devoid of its earlier charm, replaced with something feral. She looked past his shoulders, side-eyed runaway, and stalked off without a word. Blonde hair, still wet from the shower. Seductive gray eyes clouded with fear that nicked at my nerves. Perfect straight nose which bled into luscious full lips, its corner still red from the cut, my knuckles turned white. I couldn’t bring my forty-two year old self to not stare at those thighs underneath the oversized tee. They begged for me to claim every inch of its curves. For goodness sake, Reaper she was half my age. “Tanker, I need details about the consignment,” Tanker nodded. “One more thing, fix the camo,” He gave me a stiff nod, spun around and disappeared into the hallway. “Sit.” My tone was wrapped in command. Her gaze bounced between the three of us before she propped herself against the couch beside me. An electric jolt coursed through my body when my fingers grazed the skin on her bare thighs. “Are you going to tell us how you found our camo?” Her gaze bounced between the three of us. “I didn’t find your hideout. I ran into it, there’s a difference.” Her voice trembled with defiance. “How’d you know it’s a hideout?” Joker fired at her. “Tell us.” Ace mused. “I don’t even know you people. Let me go.” She bit out. Joker grimaced. “But you know enough that we do unspeakable things to our victims to get what we want.” She raised her hand in surrender. “Fine. My husband divorced me, after I paid off our mortgage, because I’m a fixer-upper, and he needed a made woman. I left tonight, then I noticed a man following me, then I ran into what I thought was an abandoned building.” I should be livid about her sleazy husband throwing her out, instead my eyes were fixed on the movement of her lips. A mental image of her lips around my d**k flashed through my head, I pushed it off. “Are you really going to buy her story?” Joker tried to counter. She rolled her eyes. “I’m not lying.” “Bullshit!” Joker groaned. “What’s your name?” A pause. “Marilyn.” She has a name, interesting. I reached for the document on the table, and placed it on her thighs. “Sign this Lyn, we have a divorce certificate to tender to your ex-husband.”
