Disabled Boy In A Disabled World

1st Regression

I woke up and I was in vines. I was sure I had just been hit by a truck but for some reason, I was in a place that looked like a jungle still attached to my wheelchair but for some reason, it had grappling hooks.

I struggled and struggled to get out of the vines and to unlock the straps but it wouldn't budge.

Once the vines broke up from the struggle. I roamed around in the jungle for hours. It was unusual.

There was flora and fauna I had never seen before, then soon after I made it out of the jungle and I was in a barren desert

What appeared in front of me was a town. The town looked like a western town in the 1800s except it was incredibly pretty. It had amazing decorations that looked like it was from the 21st century but there was but one problem.

The town was empty. I rolled in and wandered around, even then I could not find a person

The town was strange. There were no steps but ramps only, on the ramps looked to be tire marks. After that, I continued to stroll around, and eventually, I heard voices coming from a building. It was a pub.

The pub smelt strongly of liquor and I was about to roll in but as I was about to I felt a certain sense of uneasiness, although I felt it I still walked in.

As I walked in a game-like window appeared in my face. It had contents similar to that of a quest appeared.

When I saw the message, my head started to have a migraine. I fell on the floor and passed out and I remembered memories of the life I went through before. 

I remembered all the problems I had, the people I killed, and the things that the previous one did as well. The scenario was almost the same except for the fact of new development.

There was another disaster and I was already marked as a disaster. The people had a different look on their faces when I woke up, some of them were getting themselves drunk, some tried to commit suicide, some cried and some tried to survive.

In the pub, there were around 60 people, more than last time.

I wasn't sure if it was because of the new disaster or if it was because of my previous life but one thing was for sure. This scenario wasn't the same.

The scenario had changed. 

There was no scenario, people weren't dying like before and I couldn't find the other disaster. I looked and looked and as I looked at the time left, there was only had 30 minutes left.

If I wanted the hidden piece I needed to kill everyone although I didn't need to kill them. But I feel as if they would be better off leaving this hell before they all die, like freeing them from their despair and their past.  

I started to kill them again and most of the time they accepted it while very few still had the will to live and retaliate. I was surprised that people still wanted to live in this hellhole of a world.

The willpower of a human amazes me sometimes.

As I continued to kill, I saw a child and he strolled up behind a man, the man fell forward a second later and the kid disappeared. He was the disaster.

All over the place, I could see the kid disappear and reappear while always killing someone, his eyes were dead. The child had no emotion.

Suddenly at my neck was a dagger, he pointed it at me but I brought mine out as well and he backed down. I was scared like them and I never want to experience it again.

The boy realized I was another disaster as he almost tried to kill me. The people realized we were the disasters and picked up their pitchforks and kitchen knives. 

They tried to kill us but it was not fruitful as singlehandedly wiped them out. After we killed them all I once again got the hidden piece. Almost the remaining people were killed by Gilyoung and he had no emotion for them, I couldn't tell what he was thinking but I knew he wasn't evil.

The dagger stiletto was acquired. Now the real problem would occur.

The second main scenario would soon start and we strolled out the door and got the notification immediately.

[Emergency Defence Has Begun]

[You Have 30 Minutes To Prepare]

I already knew what was going to happen so I was prepared but the boy was not. He was shaking and he looked at me and said.

"We just killed everyone and now we have to fight more"

Then I told him

"Don't worry we should be fine"

It was a big surprise to me that he felt emotion although he said all that sounding like he didn't mean it. He sounded sarcastic and insincere, maybe he was acting like that.

Then after this Faron came to introduce himself again. But he also told me the name of the man he didn't tell me before. His name was Kelly Oubre.

He was a sniper. Which was something I knew already. It was then when I asked him a question he didn't expect.

"What is that wind-type skill you have?"

"How! How do you know that!"

I told him "I have my ways" with a smirk on my face.

Then Faron asked who the boy was, which was something I didn't know as well. I was just as curious. 

"My name is Lee Gilyoung"

Immediately I recognized that this was not the name of a person from this world

He was Korean and disabled as well. He smirked and asked.

Now that I think about it the Dark Angel had a very Korean name as well but even so, I don't understand how these would connect. 

"What's your name?"

"John"

And after I asked him what skills he had. 

"The power of the book"

At this moment my head shook as if I found out an important fact but I didn't think too much about it although it was a bit surprising. It was now that we only had 2 minutes left.

The notification once again reminded us.

[1 Minute Left]

The fight had started the same way it did before. 

At first, we weren't doing much damage like last regression but the more desperately we attacked the more damage we did. Sadly I knew how this would end but there was a variable so there is always that chance.

Then Gilyoung which was the variable had told me to come with him. He took me to one of the buildings and suddenly a hidden scenario appeared.

I read it and suddenly I was teleported. I opened up my eyes. I didn't know this book but the next thing I realized was that I was not in my wheelchair.

For the first time in my life, I could walk. It felt amazing to walk but it felt weird, I've been in a wheelchair my whole life and suddenly I can walk.

"What's going on?"

"Didn't you read the mission contents"

He already knew about this apparently and he told me to follow him. I was a side character. I didn't know his name.

The mission contents said he wanted us to make a suitable ending. Then suddenly we were in the middle of a big war. One at the length of which I had never seen before, a supposed Great War.

When I had looked at Gilyoung he was a blonde man with a curly eyebrow in a suit. We had gained every skill that our supposed characters had.

My character's name was Sabo. I didn't know who this was. I now had access to all his moves. I took a look at a few and saw something that stood out to me, this existence the Devil Fruit, It was called the Mera Mera No Mi or translated as the fire fire fruit.

All over the battlefield, I could hear cries of pain as we were losing and I could see people that were massive. They all had uniforms that said Marines and I knew the two groups fighting but which was the right side. 

I looked at my attire and I was wearing a large black trench coat with long black pants and high black boots. In my hand was a weapon that looked like a pipe, because of this I tried using that devil fruit ability.

[John has activated skill: Fire Fire Fruit]

The pipe had enflamed in a beautiful and majestic orange fire, due to this all the people turned towards me and I didn't know what was happening. 

The people had leaped forward, they were all wearing marine uniforms and they screamed.

"Kill Sabo"

Before this happened I looked at his move list and it was interesting. 

[John has activated skill: Dragon's Claw]

My hand had dug into the ground and it crumbled, and each and every person that leaped at me fell while I made it out.

I continued to walk while thinking.

What would the creator want?

What type of ending was he trying to create?

Why did he send us here and as these characters?

What purpose was he trying to create with these 2 characters?

How would they influence the ending?

What was their role?

This was confusing, what ending would satisfy this author, I don't even know the story.

My first thought was to win this huge war but I didn't know anything about this. Maybe I just needed to beat the enemy.

Then Gilyoung came out of nowhere.

"Too conventional, we need something unique"

This gave me the idea that maybe the author didn't want a good ending.

Maybe he wanted a bad ending but then I thought what if it was a sacrificial ending.

One that emotionally impacted the reader. Then I had an idea.

What if one of the main characters died in order to win. I believed that would be a worthy ending but even so, I wasn't sure. 

Then a notification appeared on my face.

[The Final Battle Will Take Place Soon]

The final battle was starting soon and I needed to make my way there but all I could hear were the shouts from battles in all directions.

I could see a man with 3 swords and a scar fighting a man smoking a cigar. There were battles taking place everywhere and on this massive battlefield, I saw someone that looked very important because he was shining out of the crowd of people. 

He was incredibly strong and I sincerely hoped he was on our side, then I saw who he was fighting and it was the marines.

I let out a sigh at the thought of him being on the other side. 

I think the final battle was with a man that had a massive scar on his face and the uniform of a marine as he shined out just like the other man. Then before me appeared the man that shined out, the man with the straw hat and a skeleton with an afro.

The battle had started and I stood by for a little bit 

The skeleton had somehow condensed ice into his sword while the man with the straw hat could stretch his body however he wanted and the marine could use the power of magma.

I was about to jump into the fight as I learned of their abilities, but as I was about to hop into the fight another man with two scars on his eyes had jumped in, his eyes were closed so I assumed he was blind. 

Suddenly my shoulders became heavy as if someone had thrown a Boulder on top of me. The blind man took the man with the straw hat away but I and the skeleton couldn't do anything as the weight was too much for us, the force was painful but we had to ride through it, and then it just stopped as the notification appeared. 

[The Final Battle Has Started]

The final battle started but I couldn't tell whether it was with me or the man with the straw hat.

Then Gilyoung appeared or the man with curly eyebrows as his character.

He shouted "BROOKE. BEAT SAKAZUKI AT ALL COSTS!"

Who was Brooke? I'm guessing it was the skeleton.

At this moment we started to fight the big man with the massive scar on his face.

Their powers were natural enemies. Ice and fire.

The battle was becoming chaotic, things were flying around numerous big battles were taking place. The battle was not going well. Without the man with the straw hat we were losing, suddenly something happened.

I was starting to lose hope in winning as the marine had kept overpowering us but then someone had raised my will to fight.

Brooke shouted "I WILL WIN"

Brooke told me to create an opening so I distracted the marine, then Brooke charged in. The air was becoming cold as he pierced the man's side, from the spot that was pierced ice started to spread.

The man screamed in pain but he wouldn't just let this happen. He used every ounce of his power to stop it from spreading.

Brooke pulled out the sword and pierced him in multiple other places and then he pulled it out again and kept stabbing and stabbing. The battle became quiet.

We had all hoped the battle was over but we were wrong.

The battle was not over. The man grabbed Brooke by the neck and the two powers started to clash. 

Brooke was using all the ice he could bring out while the marine was using as much magma as possible to melt Brooke.

Then Gilyoung told me once again.

"Kill Sakazuki now!"

Ah so his name was Sakazuki.

I charged in and I dug my hands deep into his wounds, I used one of Sabo's moves, Dragon claw.

His insides were mushy and hot, not something I would've wanted to feel ever.

As soon as I used it Sakazuki stopped moving. His grip loosened and Brooke managed to make it out. 

He looked to have died standing but although we killed Sakazuki, Brooke was on the verge of death.

His bones were melting, he was dying, he was a sacrifice to the story. 

Many peculiar people managed to make it here and they saw this. They started to cry in sorrow. It was sad to see.

It was sad and they cried a lot. I felt their pain as I was a character in this story. Then Brooke spoke to them.

"Don't worry about me I'll revive and find my way back to you"

Then Brooke passed for the first or second time, I didn't know. But although he spoke of these, the people still continued to cry even if they knew this was going to happen.

[THE AUTHOR IS SATISFIED]

That meant we had completed the mission. We had been teleported back to the Emergency scenario and it was back to where we left.

The choice was hard but I chose Beserk. It was absolutely a skill that was needed to beat that monster.

Then as we made it outside the Dark Angel appeared. His words were a surprise

"That ending was great. Immaculate"

"I wonder will you be able to use the abilities you got to beat the Deinosuchus"

"I hope you can show us a good ending as you did with that story just then"

He proceeded to blabber on and suddenly he gave actual useful information.

"Say status to look at everything you have"

This meant we could look at our stats like it's a game.

I opened it. "Status"

Then a game-like window appeared showing everything about my body conditions and my skills.

I was surprised about my stats for the most part.

My mobility was higher than 0 but then again I guess that's the wheelchair.

My agility was no surprise. I couldn't walk so it made sense.

"You can use the coins in your possession to upgrade your stats"

Immediately after Gilyoung responded

"I already know this"

I was even more surprised by this. He knew many things I didn't know and things I'm pretty sure others didn't know as well.

I asked him "How do you know these things"

He used the same response as last time.

"I told you I have the power of the reader"

I still didn't understand what that meant but now it was time to get back to the Scenario.
