The 5 Elders And The Guardian

I made it to the top of the building only to see something supposed to happen in the near future. There was a ton of blood and dead bodies .They were already dead. Then suddenly from behind me I felt a presence and I turned around

I saw two daggers and I blacked out. I woke up only to be in a wet wasteland much like a swamp where I saw lots of people most of which had an injury

I saw mini scenarios and dead people. I lost my sword and I lost all my items, I was in the waiting room. I failed. I regressed.

Damn now I would have to find him again and if he didn't regress I can't do it

"What am I going to do now"

Luckily I still had all the skills from my first life and my phone still worked

My phone gradually regained battery and now was the time to read. I needed to find out what happened in those scenarios. I read through the scenarios and 75 was a major turning point.

The ending that John got was bad. He saved the world at the cost of him becoming paraplegic and that everyone around him dies along with everyone forgetting the man that saved the world

The ending he got turned him into a mad man. He once again became paralysed right after he escaped from it. The people that were once in wheelchairs walking again became the same as the people from Earth

He didn't even get sent back because he didn't complete the mission although he saved the people, they forgot him and they tormented him for being the only person in the world in a wheelchair.

He became enraged and he massacred the people with his remaining power only to regress back to the start. He never accomplished his mission, instead he went through death and despair, for what?

He accomplished their mission but not his. Which is why I'm changing the ending of this damn story. He went through so many regressions I can't count. He died and died and continued to die. Only to see the dawn of a world full of greed and discontent, over and over again although at the start he wasn't affected much by the killing, later on his mind would break and break from the continuous death that was caused by him.

I will change each and every regression he goes through so that once he reaches the end he will remember and not be in an endless spiral of death but that can't be done if we aren't in the same regression.

Suddenly my vision became blurred and I felt as if I was being stretched out, everything I saw was stretched and then I blacked out again, I couldn't feel my body at all.I still couldn't see but I had a sensation in my feet then it got higher towards my legs then I could feel my torso, then my arms and then my face.

My eyesight returned and I was back at PARADISO. I thought I died but turns out I hadn't

Never would I have thought it would be used now. I awoke in the building and all the blood was gone and all the elders were sitting down sipping on tea while there was another person standing next to them.

One of the elders walked towards me namely the 3rd elder Baekje

"Ah you're back. Come sit down we just want to talk"

"What business do you have with me?"

"Well I'm pretty sure you know your mission is to kill us right"

"Yes it is so why talk to me?"

"We want you to stop trying to kill us"

Now the 1st elder Silla started to talk

"You probably don't understand but you don't have to kill us"

"You are also not strong enough. So why waste your time trying to kill us when you can join us instead"

"It's not like there is a dark angel to approve of the finished scenario"

In the novel John encountered this and nothing good came from it. I'll play along for now but I will not be joining them. There's only one person here that can physically kill me anyways

That is more than enough time. I looked over at the other person that wasn't an elder. I recognised her. She was a tall beautiful woman with long black hair, a slim body and a long thick jacket like the revolutionary's

She was the guardian of the elders. She wasn't named so John referred to her as the guardian. She was strong and one of John's later comrade but in the end she betrayed him multiple times in multiple regressions

Whenever John would ask for her name she would always say the same thing

"I am the Guardian"

But no matter she will perish here. After 30 minutes the 5th elder Gaya started to speak

"What is your answer?"

"I'm still thinking, don't bother me"

"Well those 30 minutes are yours"

Sadly they weren't that patient

The 2nd elder held his head like he was having a migraine and he screamed and fell to the floor, looks like he lost

He passed out from that and all the other elders became hostile to me, they jumped out of their seats and surrounded me while the guardian watched from the back

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO HIM?!"

"He did it to himself"

Once again they didn't learn. The same thing that happened to Goguryeo, happened to Ryuku. He screamed as he pulled his hair and he passed out. The elders were terrified as they stared at me and they didn't know what to do

The guardian just stood there and she did nothing but then she disappeared from my eyes and was in front of me. She started to speak with her eloquent voice

"What would you like me to do for you Silla?"

"Kill this kid for me"

Suddenly a massive scythe appeared. It looked like the generic scythe that the grim reaper would hold on Earth. It was a sharp blade that required very precise control. Just being able to hold it in itself is amazing

She attacked and I dodged. The part of the building behind me became triangles and the wall fell. She didn't panick though. She just kept attacking, attacking and attacking.

She started to move as if she had my skill and her sickle was slowly and precisely slicing through the air to the point I could barely dodge. Just one hit to me because of that sickle and it's not going to end well

Her scythe was piercing through the air and cutting the walls continuously. She was obliterating them while I kept dodging and dodging for my life. Her skill had ended and I had just barely survived. I got cut many times because of all the debris falling down.

Now there was half a roof, half a wall and debris all over the place but that only made this battle harder. Soon this floor would cave in from all her strikes

This move was really bad news. One hit from this move and an instant death doesn't matter if I have rising from the ashes or if it only hits my hand. Instant death. The only way I might be able to survive this huge blast is if I counter it

I used my strongest skills and strongest combination of skills. There was a giant black light which was my void s***h and another that pierced the air. The two attacks clashed and they went back and forth until finally they were both nullified.

The guardians expression changed. She went from calm to angry. She was really angry now and she started to attack madly as if she used the berserk skill

She kept attacking me with the scythe and every attack that missed me felt like an earthquake was happening as she cut the floor

She used her skills and now they were faster and there were more than ever

I was dodging them but then her attacks started getting stronger. The air around me was being cut to the point I couldn't walk with it, if I continued to use my skill I would be stuck

I cancelled it right as one was coming after me and it got me in the foot. I could no longer feel my foot as it was on the floor now. The Guardian walked up to me and she was getting ready to kill me

Suddenly the parts of the roof and wall that hadn't been broken were smashed through and two men covered with blood flew in. I smiled as I knew who they were. It was John and Joo-Hyuk
