Sienna's POV I sat on one of the cold plastic chairs lined against the wall, my back stiff, and my hands folded so tightly in my lap that my fingers ached. The fluorescent lights above hummed softly. Across, a nurse wheeled a trolley past without sparing me a glance. Megan’s door is just a few steps away. Eric’s mother is with her, of course. The moment Megan was ushered into the room, she rushed in without thinking twice. I didn't try to follow because I already knew I wasn't welcomed there.
