“Alejandro you have to call this charade of a wedding off.” I notice the way he’s on his phone and doesn’t react when he hears me. “Alejandro, did you hear what I just said?”
“Mmmm?” He finally asks playing dumb.
“Cut the bullshit dude! Our parents are saying we are getting married.”
He finally looks at me in the eye and lazily added, “Congratulations to us.”
“The f**k?”
He drawls, “Princesses shouldn’t swear.”
Unable to control my anger, I finally shout, “I’m talking about a serious issue here. And I am NOT a princess.” When I get no reply from him, I scream in frustration, “This must be a joke Alessandro. If you think I’m going to marry you, you must be delirious.”
He smiles wickedly, “I don’t think you’re going to marry be sweetheart. I know you are.”
“What is this about? Because I left? Because I ran away?” He rolls his eyes in reply. Trying to goad him to feel as off as I feel, I continue, “Were your manly feelings hurt? A female finally didn’t want you, and you decide I’m going to be taken by force?”
He yawns, “That was a poor attempt to try to make me mad Sapphira. Even your six-year-old self will do a better job.”
“Ugh! This isn’t a joke dude. You know I have a boyfriend?”
“Had”
“What did you just say?”
“You heard me, and we both know I don’t like repeating myself.”
“I don’t have time for this Alejandro. Eddie is waiting for me. Goodbye.”
I noticed as I was walking out, he was behind me so I turned and asked, “Why the f**k are you following me?”
“Cause we are going to break up with your boyfriend.”
