Krist's POV

Fuck my body hurts. Because of those stupid guys. Good thing I was able to cover my face and I only got few bruises. I'm not really in the mood to go to class. I want to rest but I can't even miss a day of class.

*phone ringing*

"Oi Krist where are you?"

"I'm here ay my dorm, but I am on my way to school. Why?"

"How are you?"

"I'm fine. Why'd you ask?"

"One of the seniors told us about what happened last night. He told us that you might not be able to go to class and he said that if you insisted to go to class then we need to pick you up. Since you were badly beaten"

"Oi!! I'm okay. I can go to school on my own. Whoever this senior that told you this he is just overreacting. I can manage. See you later"

I hung up the phone right away and drive going to the school. That Singto. Why does he have to tell them? He is too nosy. He thinks that I would forgive him right away after what happened last night. As if.

Author's POV

Krist drove slowly to school since his body still hurts. He went straight to the cafeteria to see his friends who kept calling him.

"Ai'Krist. So what really happened?" Off asked

"Who did this?" Ice asked

"I don't think they are students of our school. This might be those kids from the other school that we had an argument before."

"Those stupid guys that just ran away when ice stood up?" Gunsmile said

"Yes"

"What a coward. Trying to beat someone up when they are alone" Ice said

His friends wants to plan a revenge with those guys but Krist stopped them from doing so. He told them that they should not waste their time since they need to focus on their practice more. After he calmed his friends down they walked towards their class. And while walking Krist saw Singto and his friends going towards them. The juniors immediately waid at their seniors. Even Krist did it because he owes Singto.

"Singto"

Fluke raised his eyebrows upon hearing Krist saying his friends name without any respect. He was about to shout at him but Singto stops him right away. He just ask Krist to talk in private.

"You can't even call me P after I helped you. Oh well. Anyway what's up."

"Why did you have to tell my friends about what happened last night. They were so worried and I was not badly beaten up. You don't have to brag that you helped me out. You should've-"

"Woah wait. Look I didn't tell your friends about it. That's why I just sent a message thru your online. Asking if you can come to school since we have a tutoring session later. But since you are ready to pick up a fight with me then I think You can attend the session later. There won't be any problem. See you at 7 and don't be late"

Krist was dumbfounded when he heard that. He thought his senior cares for him too much that he took the trouble to tell his friends about what happen last night. He felt so embarrassed that he couldn't say anything. Singto and his friends left them. Meanwhile Krist and his friends went inside the classroom.

"Hey Ice"

"What's up?"

"Whose the senior that told you about last night?"

"Oh it was P'Earth from the swimming team. He saw you last night when he went out of the gym. He was about to help you but then he saw P'Singto already."

"So it was not Singto?"

"No. And Krist can you at least call him P. He even helped you last night."

Krist just snorted and kept silent. His head is filled with curses right now. He feels so embarrassed about what he did. He knows that he needs to apologize and say thank you but he just can't do it. His pride is still stopping him from doing so. Because of all the things that he has in his head he was not able to listen properly in class. Even with their next class he can't focus. He kept on releasing deep sighs. He wants it to get out if his head. When lunch time came he immediately went to the stall to buy some of his favorite drink. He was not even in the mood to eat.

Singto's POV

There goes the grumpy pink milk archer. He looks really mad right now. Oh s**t. He saw me looking at him. I should just act as if I am not looking at him. I want to approach him but I was told not to do so. I might not be able to control my self if I see him and his friends. I'll just buy some food and drinks then eat at the club room.

"Ei why the long face?" New asked

"Really? You are asking me. As if you don't know"

"Ohhh so it's about that junior"

"Mmm-hmm"

"Well I didn't force you to agree with the plan."

"And now I'm wondering why I agreed to it. He looks a bot confused, hurt and ashamed"

"Just bare with it. He can manage he is old enough to deal with his emotions and his body. I think acting indifferent would help him. It is the only way"

"And how do you know that?"

"Just in case you forgot about what happened before. He misunderstood the situation before and you tried your best to get close to him. To comfort him. Even beg for his forgiveness when you didn't do anything wrong. You were devastated every time he pushes you away. You were crazy for a whole year. You were unstoppable at that time. Good thing that we were able to pull you away from that situation and you got better."

"I didn't forget about it."

"Good. So now we are going to try a different approach. I know that we can't stop you from liking him and don't deny it. So this time instead of trying to show him how you feel we are going to do the opposite. You would act as his contender"

"New. I don't want to be his enemy again. I think the situation is getting better now."

"Don't get ahead of yourself. You have to accept first that he doesn't have any feelings for you. He only feels anger, resentment towards you. He needs to realize that being your enemy is not really a good idea so maybe along the way he might realize that you are better off as his lover."

"Oi! What the hell are you talking about? I just want to to ask his forgiveness."

"Go ahead and lie to yourself. Cause you can't lie to me. I've been your best friend since grade school. I even know your closest family members"

Hmmm. I think I can end his nagging now.

"Speaking of family members. Hi Earth! Thanks for telling his friends to look after Krist"

New's body froze and he slowly looks at me and Earth. He just smiled at us. I find this situation very funny. Because just like what New said we have been friends for a long time so we cannot really lie at each other. That means I know that he likes my cousin and this stupid cousin of mine likes him back. They're just beating around the bush but they would probably end up together.

Earth sat beside New. He was very still and a little awkward towards New. I can make this even more fun. I stood up and just left them. New was trying to call me but I just smiled and said goodbye.

I just stayed in the vacant classroom and wait for our class to start. After a while New and Fluke came. New was looking me furiously. I just laugh at him. Our class ended at 5. It was a bit early than usual but then we were given a lot of projects. New and Fluke decided to study together but as for me I still have a tutoring session to attend to. Since I have to wait until 7 maybe I can watch them practice. Oh. There he is. He still looks hurt. Does he really need to practice. Let me just watch him for a bit.

Author's POV

Singto was so amazed by Krist. He still looks hurt because the incident just happened last night but he still managed to practice shooting arrows. Every time Krist releases the arrow and hits the target Singto can't help but smile and find him amusing. He wanted to capture this using his camera but Krist might notice it. He decided to just take a picture using his smart phone.

When the archery team's practice was done Singto immediately left so he won't be seen.

After practice Krist was packing his things to prepare to go to the library. His body hurts like hell. In the morning it was not so bad but due to practice his legs started to hurt. His friends suggested to cancel the tutoring but his pride said no. They also offered to help him out to go to the library but he refuses.

He started walking to the library. And every step he takes felt like a torture since it hurts a lot. He is limping his way to the library. Since he is pre occupied he didn't notice the rock in front of him and he lost his balance. Good thing someone was able to catch him before he hits the ground. He slowly opens his eyes and he saw Singto.

"Nong are you okay?" he asks

"Yes. Yes I am"

Krist felt a little awkward because while Singto is helping him he realizes that he was being hugged. And their eyes are looking toward each other. He felt a little nudge in his heart and he also feels a little light headed. He tries to brush off what he felt.

Krist's POV

The hell was that. I think I'm just hungry. We need to finish off the tutoring session so I can go home and eat already.

"Nong. By the way have you eaten already? Would you like to grab something to eat first.'

"I am not hungry"

And of course my stomach has a mind of his own and starts growling. I forgot that I didn't eat anything the whole day.

"Seems like you are"

He said that and smirked at me.

"Come on. We can eat and study at the same time. There is a good noodle place near the school"

I just agreed to him. I don't have much strength to argue with him. We decided to order 2 bowls of noodles. And his order was plain like him. I don't know why Namtarn liked him in the first place. While we are waiting for the food to arrive. He starts to prepare the table. Poured water on the cups. and wiped the utensils. Why do I feel like I am being treated like a girl? He is doing everything so naturally.

"Hey. Can we start studying while we wait for our order?"

"I already told you that we are going to eat first then study after. But if you are really eager to start then just tell me everything that you have learned today"

"Ahmmm. Well we are tackling persuasive speech. We are asked to do a presentation"

He kept asking me about our subjects and honestly I cannot really answer everything. I was not able to focus while I was in class.

We continue to talk while we were eating.

"Don't talk when your mouth is full"

"Oh, My bad. Sorry"

Wait. Did I just say sorry? Well I don't think it's a big deal he didn't react anyway.

"By the way. Have you decided which book to read for the next 2 weeks?"

"Marvel"

"I said a book. Not a comic book"

"Then I don't have any idea."

"Just as I expected. Anyway here read this book. It's a book by Paulo Coelho. Manuscript of Accra. It's a great book. You can actually finish this within a day or two."

"No, I can't"

"I think you can"

"I'm not a nerd like you"

"So? I love reading books and may I just remind you that you are studying literature and communication for your major"

"Fine"

"By the way that book is special to me. Please take care of it."

"If this is so special. Why are you letting me borrow it? You know I might do something bad with it"

"I am not a psychic to know if you are going to do something bad to it. So I am giving you the benefit of the doubt. Plus you are special to me too"

I choked since I was eating when he said that and I got flustered. I think my face is turning red. I don't like how my heart is reacting to this.

"Hey. You okay?"

"Yeah yeah. The broth was just too spicy. And what the hell do you mean by special"

"You are special to me because you are the first person that I'm tutoring in this program. So once I'm successful with you with this project the the free tutoring program would be good to go. Plus are situation is a little special. You hate me but you still agreed that I'm going to be your tutor. "

I didn't answer back. I couldn't say anything. But why do I feel this way? Why does my chest hurt a little? Ahhh maybe because of the fight last night. Yeah that's it.

We finished our dinner silently and went to the cafe near the noodle shop to complete the whole session. And it's already 11 in the evening. I feel really tired right now.

"Alright we are done. Want me to drop you off at your place? It's pretty late"

"I have my own car"

"Oh ok then. Bye"

Then he just left. That bastard. The school is quite far from this area if I walk. Then I heard someone honking their horns.

"Nong. School is closed already. I just remembered that they don't allow students to go inside after 10"

"The guards know me. They would let me in."

"Okay. Then can you walk from here to school?"

"Well"

"Come on. Let me drop you off there."

I don't really want to but I am tired and my leg still hurts. I just went in since it is going to be just a 5 minute ride.

I was about to go inside but the guard stopped me. f**k that. It's a new guard.

"Sorry we have a policy to follow you can't go inside"

"But, I need to get my car"

"We have rules to follow and you know that"

"We own this pla-"

I didn't bother finishing my sentence. I almost forgot that I don't want a lot of people knowing that I am the son of the president of this school. I just left a deep sigh. Out of all the times that my favorite guard to be out of duty. Why now? Is he still here?

I tried to look around and yes he still waiting for me. Should I just ask him to drop me off at home. or should I just wait for a cab. Yeah. I'll take the latter option.

"Nong. Come on1 I'll just drop you off"

"No need. I'll just wait for a cab"

"It might be a while."

"I can wait"

"Oh come one. It's already late. You won't owe me anything. I was the one responsible for us finishing late since I asked you to eat first. Alright?"

"Fine"

I don't really want to owe him but good thing that he knows he is the reason why we finished late. There are no traffic right now so I think we will get there within 20 minutes. I'm trying to not fall asleep but I think I lost.

Author's POV

Singto saw Krist fell asleep. They actually arrive earlier than expected but he didn't want to wake up his junior. He looks at him and smiled. He didn't know that this junior can have a calm face since every time they meet his brows are close together. He kept staring at him. First he looks at his eyes, then his nose. He went closer to get a much better view. Then he looks at his lips. They are so close together that Singto can feel him breathing. He wants to kiss those lips. His heart is battling with his brain. His heart saying that this might be his only chance but then his brain is saying that it is not good to take advantage of someone. He then decided to just kiss hid forehead. He knows what he did is still wrong but that's the best thing he can do right now. It is a good thing that he didn't wake up. He went closer again smiled and tried to whisper.

"Krist I'm sorry. I just really like-"

Krist started to move. It was Singto's go signal to stop and just wake him up.

"Nong, Wake up. We arrived"

"Alright. Thanks P"

Singto was surprised that he called him P but Krist was actually surprise as well. Anyway this is just my way of telling him that he earned my respect although not yet forgiven. He doesn't know why is he acting this way. It's been just a couple of days that they are together but he somehow feels like he is not that mad at him.
