YET, ANOTHER MISUNDERSTANDING

Author's POV

A couple of days have passed. Krist and Singto would meet almost everyday for the tutoring sessions. There are times that they would argue because of Krist's attitude but Singto would do his best to understand him. But sometimes he would make Krist realize that he is still older than him and how he needs his help.

Little by little they start to create happier memories. Krist's anger towards his most hated senior changes.

"Ai'Krist. Wanna go drink tonight? We don't have practice tomorrow" Off said

"I'll pass. I need to meet P'Singto"

"Dude. Can't you just skip your study session just for today"

"I don't want to get punished. alright?"

"Huh? What do you mean?" Gunsmile asked

"We have this agreement. Like some rules and regulations that needs to be followed or else there would be punishment"

"ahahahhaha. What are you a 5 year old kid?" Off said"

"Oi! I'm not"

"Man up dude. It feels like you are now afraid of the person who took your girl"

Off keeps on laughing but he suddenly stopped since he received a hard hit on his head from Ice.

"What's your problem muscle man?" Off said

Ice pointed at Krist. He was clenching his fist. All the memories that happened before flashback. He remembered every bit of anger he felt.

"Krist my bad. Anyway if you really need to attend the session then just go. You can just follow after." Ice said

"Nah. Let's drink tonight"

Krist decided to go with them at the bar. They started ordering different kinds of drinks. From beer to hard liquor they have it. Krist didn't inform his senior about cancelling the class. He didn't even make up an excuse he just ignored him. Singto started to get worried about him and started calling him but he was just ignored.

"Krist aren't you going to answer your phone? It keeps on ringing. Maybe it's an emergency" Ice said

"It's not important. It's just him. So even if it is an emergency I won't answer his call."

Krist just turned his phone over so he cannot see him calling.

Singto's POV

Where is he? Why isn't he answering my call? I don't think he is experiencing his monthly cycle. Did he got caught with trouble with the people who fought with us before? Let me just text him.

*Ei Nong. Where are you?

*Are you okay?

*Can you answer my calls.

*If you don't answer. I'll give you a punishment on the next session.

*Oi!

I didn't get any response. I tried calling but still now answer. What the hell is happening? The security guards already asked me to get out of the library since its almost 10. So I started walking towards my car.

"Oi Singto!!"

"Oh Earth? Why are you still here?"

"Well i'm waiting for New. We are going to drink"

Then New came. I looked at them like asking if he needs to tell me something.

"Oi Singto. Stop looking at us that way. We are just going to have a drink at the newly opened bar near our school. Do you wanna tag along?"

I saw my cousin's face changed. Signaling me not to go with them. I was thinking of not going since I want to look for Krist but I don't think I can leave my best friend alone with my cousin. He might not be able to survive the night.

"Sure. I actually need to grab some drink too"

I smiled at Earth and he just left out a deep sigh. New decided to go with me in my car. Earth looks at me again begging with his eyes. But New went inside the passenger seat of my car before I can say anything. I went closer to Earth

"Cuz not tonight. ahahha You can try again next time."

Earth hit me and I laughed while going inside the car. I started driving and Earth followed.

"Sing. Thanks by the way."

"Ei New. I know that you like my cousin. So I don't get why you look like you are afraid of being alone with him."

"Because I don't know if I can help myself if I am alone with him"

"Whaaat? You think of doing the nasty every you are alone with him?"

"f**k you. I'm not like you"

"Ahahahha. What did I do?"

"I saw you kissing Krist inside your car last time. Singto just in case you forgot your car is not as tinted as you expect."

I just smiled. HA! I was caught red handed. Good thing it was only New and not other people.

"So tell me. What's the score between you and your so called "enemy"?"

"Nothing much. But I think we got closer"

"That's good but why do you look sad?

"Not really sad. I'm just a bit worried. Because he is not answering my call. He didn't arrive in the library today. He didn't even replied to my text message"

"Hey. It's Friday night. Maybe he is just having fun with his friends. You know just trying to escape from stress"

"He could've told me."

"Let me remind you. You are not dating and he doesn't like you"

"But I think we got closer"

"Don't expect too much. You might end up hurting more now than before"

New's words stings so much. But it is the truth. I let outa deep sigh. He told me to just enjoy the night. We started ordering drinks. this new bar is rather great. After a while Fluke followed and we ordered more.

"I'll just smoke outside. You coming Fluke?"

"Nah. Maybe later" he answered

I went out and started smoking. I look around the place then I saw Krist hugging some random girl. They're laughing and their face are close to each other. Looks like he is having the time of his life right now. My heart starts to feel pain and I think tears are starting to form as well. Even if there are a lot of people outside they are the only people I see. I am aware of the loud music coming out of the door but I can only hear Krist's laughter.

I should've went home. I know I shouldn't be hurt but what else can I do? I have been in love with him. I can't stop looking at them. Then the girl was about to kiss Krist and my body didn't listen to plea.

"Ei. Krist. What are you doing here? Why didn't you attend our study session.

He looked at me and push me away.

"Go away"

He looks really drunk.

"Oh who do we have here? It is Singto the university moon 2 years ago. You look so fine."

The girl that was flirting with Krist started flirting with me. Krist's eyes were full of anger. I don't have a good feeling about this. He clenched his fist and punched me in my face. I tried to calm him down but he won't listen. He keeps on throwing punches.

"Haven't you had enough of taking things away from me?"

"Let's stop."

He didn't listen to me and he punched me again.

"Why aren't you fighting back? Aren't you the great Singto. The university moon. The smart ass. Mr Perfect. Come on punch me. fight back"

If only I can fight back. You are too drunk to think rationally. I also don't want to hurt someone special to me. Only if you knew. I just wiped the blood on my lips and stand up.

"Krist stop."

"Stay away from me"

"Krist people are looking at you. Remember that you have a reputation to protect. You are the team captain. You are the son of the university's president. calm down"

"f**k you. I know what you are planning. You're just trying to get back at me. You are trying to be nice so you can ruin my life again"

Those words hurts more than his punches. He was about to punch me again but I stopped him and hug him tight.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everything. It is just a misunderstanding but I'm still sorry."

"If you really are sorry. Just disappear. Leave me alone. You ruined everything. Even the president listens to you and I'm his son. You are perfect in everyone's eyes. Can you just disappear?"

He looks ate me straight in the eyes. He starts crying and kept asking me to disappear. I slowly loose my grip.

"I will try my best to disappear. You won't see me in school or anywhere else and if there's a chance the we'll bump to each other. I will immediately get out of your way. Again I'm sorry"

After a while their friends came out. Everyone was surprised. Singto's face is bleeding and Krist has some bruised because he kept falling.

"Singto. What happened?" New asked

"f**k that kid. Let me teach him a lesson." Fluke said

"Stop. Le's go"

"Singto. Why don't you tell him the truth? So this s**t can stop already. Just tell him that it was not you who flirted but-"

"I SAID STOP!!!. I'll go first. I need to rest"

I just left them. My body hurts a lot but this can recover after a few days or weeks but as for my heart I don't know how long will it take. I expected too much. I thought we got closer. I thought he might give me a chance to come clean about the incident before but i guess he is not yet ready. Or maybe he won't ever be ready for it. I guess everything is my fault. Maybe I should listen to him. Maybe it is better if I disappear.
