Author's POV

Krist woke up early. He was very happy. He kept on smiling while he prepared his breakfast and, after that, took a shower. He never felt this happy for a long time. He feels very light. No more hatred in his heart from his senior. After a while, he went straight to their practice area. He was one hour early for their practice. Which he doesn't usually do. His friends came along with the other members. Everyone was surprised that he was earlier than everyone. But another thing surprised them more.

"Good morning guys. I have already set everything up."

He greeted them with a good morning with a smile on his face. It was a complete shock to everyone. They just smiled back and greeted him as well. They are worried even though Krist looks happy. They think that Krist is like a ticking bomb that will explode at any moment. They tried brushing it off, thinking that maybe he was just in a good mood. But they are still very cautious. Then one of the newbies in the team kept making mistakes. Krist was glaring at him, then he got closer.

"Oh, there it goes. The evil nom yen is back. Look at how he is glaring at the newbie," Off said.

"Yup. Looks like the bomb is now set to explode." Gunsmile said.

Everyone was expecting that Krist would either shout or smack the newbie. But their jaws dropped when their friend didn't do anything like what they were expecting.

"Toey I know you can do better than this. You have been improving since you first started. If something is bothering you right now, just set that aside first and focus. And whatever that is that you have in mind. I know that it will get better."

Krist wanted to shout at him for not focusing, but he didn't want to ruin his good mood. He is trying his best to control his temper.

Since he is happy, he just wants to be a happy pill to everyone.

"Alright guys, we'll have a break. Resume after 30 minutes. "

Everyone is still wondering what is happening to their team captain. Kist sat down and checked his phone and his own happy pill texted him.

Singto: Good morning Nong. Let's meet later at 5 for the tutoring session, okay?

Krist: Yes P. By the way P, the library is under renovation. Where should we study?

Singto: We can go to the cafe at the radio station. So you can have nom yen while studying. What do you think?

Krist: That sounds great.

Singto: I'll just pick you up at your dorm. So we can just use one car. OK?

Krist. Ok. P.

Krist was thinking about what to wear when they met. But he is confused as to why he feels nervous thinking about meeting his senior.

"It's not like we are going on a date" he said to himself.

Krist smiled unconsciously at the thought of dating. Then he stops himself from thinking about it. But his heart started beating fast. He was so deep in his thoughts that he didn't notice his friends were surrounding him already. He looked up when he felt something was being pointed at him. It was his friends holding the bow and arrow towards him.

"s**t!! What the hell are you doing?"

"Who are you? And what have you done to our friend?" Off said.

"Yeah. Bring him back. Or well, not really. He is nice now."

"I like the new Krist better, but I think I will miss the evil nom yen" Off said

"Hmmm. I don't think this is the new Krist, but this is the old buddy we had before. The happier one. The reasonable one."

"Ehem. So aren't you guys going to lower the arrow while having this conversation with me? Because you guys might accidentally release them"

His friends realized that. They backed down and started smiling at Krist. He stood up and smiled at them too. They thought it was going to be okay. But Krist has something in his mind.

"Archery team!!!! Come here!!"

"Yes. Cap!!"

"Most of you saw how the seniors behaved. I know that it's break time. But pointing an arrow directly at a person might cause accidents and we don't want that to happen, right?"

"What are you doing Krist?" Ice said.

He just smiled at them.

"So as a punishment and to let each and everyone of you know that this is applicable to everyone. Any act like this can result in a punishment. So Off, Gunsmile, Ice. Do 30 push ups and after that plank for 2 minutes and do 100 squats. And that is only one set. You guys will be doing 3 sets."

"Oi. Krist!"

"That is an order from your team captain. You must set a good example to the juniors. But what you did was not even close to being good. Or if you guys don't want that, you have an option of dancing for an hour in front of everyone while cheering on us."

"f**k. Let's just do it" Ice said

"Psh. This is nothing for you muscleman. That's why you are agreeing to it. But for a handsome and-"

"I'll count to three. If you don't do it, then I might add more sets or maybe something worse."

Gunsmile hits Off's head. And they started doing it. Krist can't help but laugh at the sight. He heard Gunsmile complaining to Off. because it was his idea to do it, and Off responded that the evil nom yen never left in the first place.

"You saying something?"

"No cap"

"Are you upset?"

The two glared at Off.

"No cap"

Off said it while smiling. After their practice, Krist and his friends went out to eat but his friends were not talking to him.

"So you guys won't talk to me."

They still kept silent.

"Fine then. I was actually thinking of buying something good for you guys today, " Krist said.

"You're going to treat us?" Off said.

Off earned a smack in the head from Gunsmile.

"You said we wouldn't talk to him until tomorrow?" Gunsmile said.

"But it's free food."

Everyone ended up laughing. We finished eating lunch and they started to interrogate me.

"But anyway, Krist. Why were you in a good mood?" Ice asked.

"Nothing. I just feel good today."

"Yeah right. Come on spill it. You've been down for the past 2 weeks, then all of the sudden you are okay". Gunsmile said.

"Yeah."

"Ice, we shouldn't be asking him anymore. More or less, P'Singto had already talked to him. They're back together." Gunsmile said.

"What? I didn't know you were dating P'Singto". Off said

Krist hit him with a spoon. Off has been getting hit a lot lately.

"We are not dating. But we had talked already and he explained to me what happened on that day with Namtarn."

"So P really dated Nam", Ice said.

"No, but she did cheat on me."

Krist's POV

I told them everything and they were shocked. They didn't expect that from Nam. But who can actually resist my P's charm? No, that doesn't sound right. But who won't misunderstand his kindness? There are times that I might have misunderstood his gestures towards me. Good thing that I won't fall for a guy.

"Well, at least now you are able to know the truth. You can smile now unlike before. Right?" Ice said.

"And it's all because P'Singto, right?"

"Yup"

"He is the reason why you are smiling. Right?"

"Yes"

"And he is the reason why you got good grades. Right?"

"Mmmhmm that's about right"

"So you already like him?"

"Yes. Of course"

After I answered Ice, they were all laughing. Shoot! I get it now.

"Oi!!!! I like him as a brother"

"Hahahha. I don't think that's the case."

"Shut up. Or do you want to do more exercise on our next practice?"

Gunsmile and Ice hit him. He got the jackpot price for being hit today. ahhah

We separated after talking and I went straight to my dorm. After arriving, I took a shower and dried my hair. While I'm in my towel, I started checking for some clothes. Which would look good on me? This shirt or how about this one? Hmmm. Wait, what the hell? f**k that, I'll just wear anything. After putting on a black shirt and pants, I looked in the mirror again to check if I looked okay. Stop checking yourself. I lay down on my bed and closed my eyes. But I was shocked. I immediately sat down. His face showed up while I was closing my eyes. Why am I thinking of him? Do I really like him in a special way? Nah. He is like a brother to me. He is just a hero. That's it.
