We were really in the middle of nowhere. The pastures stretched out as far as the eye could see, stopping at the edge of the cliffs, Elgin's uncle's house was in the middle of it all. I couldn't deny it, it was amazing. “But you didn't tell me your uncle had a ranch!” I yelled, hysterically seeing horses waiting in a paddock. “Yes, he and my aunt are breeders. They also have cattle. Do you like horses?” Elgin laughed. “I love them! I have been riding since I was very little.” “So for sure, my uncle will like you,” he said with a big smile. We had barely got out of the car when a couple in their forties greeted us. “I thought you would never decide to come to visit us, scoundrel!” his uncle said ruffling his hair. “It's good that you're here.”
