“How are you?” Elgin asked seeing my downcast face. (I was devastated.)            “Yes,” I replied in a very small voice.   He smiled at me, brushing my cheek with his fingertips, he understood. Maybe he felt like me? The Range Rover had just pulled up in the courtyard of the manor. It was still raining when we left this morning, but this time the boats didn’t stay at the dock. My heart was heavy because I was leaving behind a wonderful stay. Although it was scary on some points, I had a hard time leaving. “Scarlett! I'm glad you're home!” cried my father, excited when he saw us arrive. “Excuse us, but we are just leaving, with your mother. We have to pick up grandma from the ophthalmologist. See you later!”           “Ok,” I nodded as he ran to take refuge in his car.            “E
