He won’t listen to you,” suggested Madeline.  Even though I barely agreed with her view, I didn’t hide it from her as I spoke, “Since he saved you from your greedy father’s scheme of making your younger brother the alpha of this pack, I think he has a soft corner for females.”  With bitterness evident in her eyes, Madeline spoke, “He only did that because he’s my brother. There’s no other reason to it. If there would’ve been a princess of some other pack going through the same thing, I don’t think he’d intervene.”  While placing my hand over my waist, I commented, “This is my issue. It’s not related to you anymore. Hence, I wouldn’t want you to waste your valuable time on me while lecturing me about all the things that could go wrong
