I was blind to the picture of betrayal, but now my third eye has opened. I didn’t —couldn’t; decided not believe my eyes, and the things it showed me, but the puzzle pieces fit together so perfectly that it was impossible to ignore the grotesque picture it manifested. I stayed paralyzed in my spot as it all fell into place; as I internally crashed and came apart. The whole idea had been one big masterplan to trap us here. Coming here was her idea; taking the lead on training us in spell casting was her idea too. How long had she been a part of the side we had sworn to fight? How long had she plotted and schemed while still keeping up the appearance of being with us; one of us. And the big question stood in my head like a wall blocking me from the great understanding; why? Now that I ask
