Day 4: Rain is Falling J0 shook me lightly as she tried not to startle me out of sleep. “Hey, hon. Do you want some breakfast?” I cleared the cobwebs from my head. “What time is it?” Light shot across the sterile interior of the town house. I turned toward the window above the bed. The sun was up, and the sky was very blue. “Almost 9:30.” I looked at the alarm clock to see exactly what time it was. Nine twenty-nine. Again. “Breakfast would be great,” I answered. “I went to Eldorado’s already this morning. I bought groceries to get us through the rest of the week.” “How long have you been up?” “About two hours.” I sat up in bed, and I let the covers fall to my waist.
