Bruce cranked up the volume as loud as he could, and, for the next two minutes and four seconds, we listened to Chuck Berry sing about rhythm and blues. When “Roll Over Beethoven” was finished, Bruce once again turned the volume to a more appropriate level.
“I’m glad that getting you out of your place was a simple snatch and grab. By the way, I packed you some toiletries for the trip.”
