Dhruv’s POV I'm not sure why I was so irritated when the bellman abruptly grasped the squirrel's hand in front of me; when I saw what he did, I wanted to murder him right away for holding her hand without permission. But I changed my mind; I want to make that man pay for holding her hand, so he will regret it. I'm not sure why this stranger stirred up unwelcome emotions and thoughts that I had hidden away under my heart after Ranie had left me that night. "Sir," the squirrel remarked to me, "I believe it is time to quit washing; my hands are already clean." I stare at her hand, which I am still scrubbing, and I am not sure whether it is clean or not. I want to make certain that the bellman's touch and filth are erased. I didn’t listen to her plea ang continued to wipe her hand.
