Zoraya's arm rose and one shielded her stomach as the wolf flew toward her, canines gleaming, but then Snow took over in a flash, instincts honed and sharp as the danger approached.
At the last possible moment, she twisted Zoraya's body to the side, sending her crashing into the dirt but saving her from the omega's snapping jaws. The wolf barreled past, missing them by inches, and a furious growl erupted from Zoraya's chest, Snow's rage and strength coursing through her veins like a hurricane.
