By the next morning, everyone at Jet.com knew almost as much as Duncan did. Rumors circulated. It was said that Lucy was William’s wife, sister, or w***e.
Everyone saw Lucy go up to William’s office, but no one had seen either of them come down. This was why people began to look at the security cameras. Even with the video though, no one could really see Lucy’s face. Some said it was Vivian. There had been rumors about her in the past.
Later in the day, it was discovered that Vivian had an alibi, and the mystery became even more mysterious. Finally, someone asked Haley and he told them: “It was his wife.”
