After lunch, Lucy and Amber went shopping and, as soon as they were gone, Vivian turned and went up to Jenny's room. She knocked three times and Jenny invited her in. Before Vivian showed up at her door, Jenny had been looking at a new necklace that Steven had given her recently – and she hid it in a box while Vivian entered the room.
Steven had seen that Jenny was envious of all of the gifts William had given Lucy, so he gave her the necklace, and Jenny liked it more that she figured Lucy loved her make-up. After all, make-up was easy to come by, but a necklace could be priceless. This one, she had been told, was one of a kind.
