Courtney had promised to find Byron the next morning, but Christina had little faith in her mother-in-law, or at least in her ability to follow through with her promise. She meant well but her son was stubborn. If he felt that he couldn’t come home, he wouldn’t. That being said, she didn’t want to get into it any further, so she agreed to go to bed. As she made her way to the stairs, Courtney called out to her saying, "Good girl. Go to bed!"
Christina’s thoughts were heavy that night as she tried to fall asleep. Courtney was trying to help her but all that she actually cared about was her providing her with a grandchild. She didn’t care about Christina.
