It wasn’t long before Christina’s nausea passed. This was just another aspect of being pregnant. You could be fine one minute, sick the next, and then well again. In the same fashion, pregnant women also find themselves on emotional roller coasters. Christina was no different.
Christina had dragged Lucy into the washroom to help her but, now that the emergency had passed, there was an air of discomfort between them.
