New Love

Author Notes: Hey guys, I wanted to apologize for my story grammar. The thing is, I am using my phone to write these story and not an up to date one. So even with auto corrections, it still give trouble. My 4g track phone and laptop was stolen last year December. And it's taking a long time before I can go and buy a new laptop (cheapest one is $300) but I have bills and school fees. So I hope you all can be patient, and when I get back a laptop or pc I will re write the chapters better. Thank you and enjoy this epic chapter.

Alex House

Alex stood in his backyard waiting for his partner. A wolf with black fur jump into his backyard. His black eyes staring at Alex's one.

Alex: "Took you long, brother."

Luis is a pack member for Eclipse and Alex younger brother.

Luis: "Sorry, but I needed to be sure. Anyways, back to the main topic. Travis goes on his morning run/walk every morning since he return. He always stop at the lake a few minutes out of town. The same one some of these humans use to get water from. He's always alone."

Alex: "Good, then today we strike him. It will be two against one, so he's at a disadvantage."

Alex: "Then it's settle."

Travis & Tracy house

Ring...ring...ring...ring...

Travis groan but open his eyes, they quickly adjust to the dark bedroom that he and his family is sharing at the moment.

Ring...ring...ring...ring...

Travis quietly remove himself from his family embrace and hop off the bed. He walked through the room door and into the living room, the house phone that is connected to an answering machine kept ringing. Travis stood on his back legs and put his front paws on top of the table. He use his nose to press the answer button on the machine.

Tracy Voice: Travis I'm afraid I have some bad news. I won't be coming home today, I know you really wanted me to meet your family but something huge come up. Please understand and I hope we can have a real family bonding experience another time. Later Travis, and I love you. Beep!

Travis stare at the answering machine in shock, hurt, anger and sad. He really was hoping that his master and his family would spend some quality time together. Travis got down back on all four and stare at the carpet floor. He sigh and looked up at the clock, it said 6:00 am.

Travis: "If she said it's really important that it has to be something big. She's never one to break her promise unless she really has too. Oh well, time for my morning run/walk."

Travis started to walked toward the front door but a young voice make him stop in his track.

Angel: "Daddy can I come with you?"

Travis turn around and saw his oldest daughter standing a few feet behind him. Her purple eyes staring at his blue ones.

Travis: "Angel? What are you doing up so early? You should be in bed, resting."

Angel: "Please dad, can I go with you on your morning walkun. Please, pretty please."

Travis was going to denied his daughter but then she started to create "THE LOOK". Her eyes got wide, her lips quiver and fear tears started to form. It's a move their mom use on him too many time and now their daughters has master it. It's too cute and with Angel being a pup, make it even cuter. Travis groan but sigh.

Travis: "Okay okay, just please turn down the cuteness."

Angel smirk and ran toward her dad, who grab her from behind her neck and place her on his back. Angel growled at her dad who smirk back at her. The two walked outside through the doggie door. The fresh morning air hit both daughter and father. Both took in a deep breath and exhale.

Travis: "Hold on tight, okay Angel."

Angel: "Okay dad."

Angel locked her front paws around her dad's neck. With great speed, Travis ran his usual route. Passing houses, shops, and other humans and wolves. He ran for half an hour in town and then ran into the forest. Angel was in awe at her dad's speed and endurance. The scene around them too was breathtaking and amazing. The two finally came to a stop at a lake that was connected to a waterfall. Fishes jumping out of water, and other animals drinking water. A giant otter with dark purple eyes and slender body saw the two wolves, but instead of screaming and running for her life. She instead walked toward the two.

Astrid: "Well ain't you a sight for sore eyes. Long time no see Travis."

The giant female otter hug the tall wolf who smile and hug her back.

Travis: "Hello Astrid, glad to see you're still kicking. How are you?"

Astrid release the hug and smile at her friend. The two wasn't best of friend when they meet but an incident led to the two becoming good friends.

Astrid: "Oh just gave birth to the cutest of pups last month. I left them to my mate to watch for a while."

Travis allow Angel to jump down his back. The young wolf stick close to her dad, for fear of Astrid.

Travis: "Haha, I know what you mean. I'm taking a walked with my daughter. Angel say hello to one of daddy friend."

Angel: "Hello."

Astrid gasp in surprise and stare at the girl wolf and then at Travis. The two looked almost identical. Astrid grab Angel and spin her around. Which cause the young wolf to yelped in surprise. Astrid nuzzle the cute wolf and put her back down. Angel was pretty dizzy and fell down.

Astrid: "How many do you have? And what's their names? And who is their mom? Gasp...is it Misty?"

Travis: laughing: "I have two pups, their names are Angel and Snow, their mom is not Misty but Lilly."

Astrid: "Aww...I was hoping for you and Misty to finally settle down and have a family. Oh well, her lost. Now sit and tell me all that has happen these past two years."

Astrid led the two to the lake and they sat down and took a drink. Travis and Astrid talked while Angel played with the water. But little did they knew was that they are being watched.

Alex: growling: "He got company and he's with his daughter."

Luis: "So? We can still attack. I doubt his daughter can fight, and that otter will be easy picking."

Alex: "I'm not to sure."

Luis: "We either attack now or never."

Alex nod his head and the two walked out of their hiding spot.

Astrid: "Wow, twins huh?"

Travis: "Yap, and..."

Alex: "Well well well, if it isn't Mister nice wolf and his wood friends."

Alex appearance cause all the animals except for Astrid to run. Travis sigh and glare at Alex.

Travis: "What do you want no Alex?"

Alex: "Revenge, for what you did to me the last time we meet."

Travis: "Fine! Astrid please watch Angel for me."

Astrid: nodding: "I will."

Astrid held Angel close to her. Angel whimper, she was shaking. From both fear and excitement, for this will be the first time she will she her dad fight. Alex smirk and circle Travis, who circle him back. Luis is hiding in a bush, waiting for the perfect time to strike. Travis stop in front of the bush, his back in front of Luis. Alex saw the bush behind Travis move and his smirk got bigger.

Travis: "I am going to beat the living hell out of you."

Alex: "I don't think so."

Luis attack and bite Travis on his right back leg. Travis yelled in pain, Alex attack him next, biting Travis on his shoulder. Angel and Astrid gasp in horror, blood started to appear on Travis shoulder and back leg. Travis use his other leg to kick Luis hard across his face. Luis yelped and release Travis leg. Next Travis bite Alex on his shoulder, causing it to bleed. Neither Alex or Travis release their hold, both biting down and shaking their head.

Angel: yelling: "Dad!"

Angel got out of Astrid hold and rush after Alex, she bit down on Alex's tail. The male yelped and release his hold on Travis, who was quickly tackle to the ground by Luis. Alex glare at Angel, who release her bite hold. She took a step back, her entire body shaking from fear.

Alex: "You little b***h! I'm going to make you pay for that!"

Astrid tackle Alex to the ground and bit down on Alex's chest. The giant otter is a good fighter, and a even greater fight if her pups are in trouble. So Astrid pretended Angel was her pup and her instincts did the rest. Angel watched in awe as both her dad and Astrid fight to protect her, the fight lasted for five minutes with both Travis and Astrid winning. Travis headbutt Luis and pin the wolf down. Astrid clawed Alex across his face, hitting him in his right eye. Alex yelped and threw Astrid off of him, he ran back into town. Astrid sigh and walked back to angel. Angel threw herself into Astrid, who hug her back.

Travis: "Who are you? Why have you attack me?"

Luis: "My name is Luis and I am one of Eclipse pack member."

When Travis heard the name Eclipse, only one thought went to his mind; kill Luis. Travis looked at his daughter and saw tears in her eyes as she held onto Astrid. As much as Travis wanted to kill Luis, he couldn't. Not with his daughter around. Travis knew what he's about to do will hurt him in the future, but he just couldn't let his daughter see him as a killer. She see him killing for dinner but never for revenge or another wolf for that matter. Travis sigh and glare at Luis, the look alone cause the younger male to pee himself.

Travis: "Because of my daughter, I will release you. But if I ever smell or see or hear that you is anyway near this town again, not even my daughter will stop me from killing you. And when you return to Eclipse, tell him that I'm coming for him."

Travis slowly got off of Luis. He slowly got to his paws and ran away from Travis. He ran deeper into the woods. Travis walked to his daughter and make sure that she wasn't hurt. Astrid nuzzle into her dad's fur, Travis held her tightly against him. Astrid smile but frown.

Astrid: "It seems that our friendly talk need to take a detour. Tell me, who is Eclipse?"

Travis: "It's a long story."

Astrid: "I got time."

Two hour later

It been two hours since Travis and Angel left now they stood in front of the door. Travis wounds have heal nicely but not completely. When Travis and Angel enter the house through the doggie door, both was tackle to the floor. Lilly stood over her mate with tears in her eyes, and Snow stood over Angel, crying.

Lilly: crying: "Oh thank goodness you both are okay, I was worried that something have happen to the both of you."

Snow: crying: "We wanted to...look for you but..."

Travis: "Actually something did happen."

Lilly: "What?"

Travis told Lilly everything that took place today. From Tracy phone message, to his and Angel run, meeting Astrid and finally the fight between Alex and Luis. Lilly gasp and held Angel close to her, her instinct to protect her pup kick in. She was mad at Travis (kinda) but was really mad at Alex and Luis.

Snow: "Wow sis, you're so brave. I wouldn't have done what you did at all. I'm such a coward."

Snow whimper, Angel release herself from her mom hold and hug and nuzzle her little sister.

Angel: "You're not a coward sis, you're more braver than you think."

Snow: "Really?"

Angel: smiling: "Of course, and I will always be at your side to help you with any and everything."

Snow: smiling: "Thanks sis."

Lilly: "Well you two are probably hungry. Me and Snow ate the leftover pizza from last night, since either of us can hunt and do what you do."

Travis: "How about some pancakes with sausage?"

Both Angel and Snow belly growled, which cause to two to blush in embarrassment. Lilly giggle and led the two into the living room to watch cartoon. Travis when into the kitchen and in twenty minutes has four plates with food and four bowls with water (AN: Travis can also cook but only the basic of food. He is a special experiment of a wolf and fox). He called his family in and they all ate their food. After that both Snow and Angel slept on the sofa. Leaving Travis and Lilly all alone.

Travis: "Are you mad?"

Lilly: "A little, but you didn't know."

Travis: "Sorry for making you worrying about me and Angel."

Lilly smile and nuzzle her mate. A seductive smile on her face.

Lilly: "Well I know that she's in good paws. And now that both are asleep and your mom won't be home for awhile. Let's say we have a little 'fun'."

Travis didn't need to be asked twice, both him and Lilly quickly ran into the room and closed the door.
